Meet Maria Papadimitriou! Maria is the native Athenian artist who developed and launched Victoria Square Project with Rick Lowe for documenta 14. As an artist, Maria is known for her ability to examine participatory projects and collective actions that highlight the cross-section of art and social reality.
Get to know Maria as you tour Victoria Square Project with Founding Director Rick Lowe to see how Athenian artists have applied the PRH model to a community of refugees relocated to Greece.
We’ll also be visiting her project Souzy Tros, a collaborative community space that seeks to weave people together through an open embrace of diverse communities!
