The Floyd Newsum Summer Studios

This program honors the late PRH co-founder, artist, and educator, Floyd Newsum, and his commitment to supporting student artists. Six undergraduate students have an exclusive opportunity to learn and grow their creative practice in the historic neighborhood of Houston’s Third Ward. The program will culminate in a public exhibition opening on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
