Our Art Houses and Community Gallery are open Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM. You are welcome to walk the site on your own or book a guided tour. Please note that some buildings are off-limits as they are private housing or artist studios. We ask that you not disturb the tenants. 

Project Row Houses occupies a significant footprint in Houston’s Historic Third Ward, one of the city’s oldest African-American neighborhoods. The site encompasses five city blocks and houses 39 properties that serve as a home base to a variety of community-enriching initiatives, art programs, and neighborhood development activities.

PRH is open during the following hours:

  • Wednesday: 12pm – 5pm

  • Thursday: 9am – 6pm

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 12pm – 5pm
