What’s the fuss about Critical Race Theory (CRT) and why is it such a pressing issue to prevent our kids from learning about it? The answer may be more surprising than you’d think. In this interactive workshop led by Fellows of the Center for Critical Race Studies at the University of Houston-Downtown, we invite students and parents to come to learn about CRT and how it applies to their lives. Students will build and take home a CRT Toolkit with practical and artistic tools for understanding the implications of CRT–and its most pressing debates—for their world and beyond.
