Join Round 54 artist Rehab El Sadek for a collaborative “city-building” exercise this Saturday, February 4th, from 12:30pm – 2:30pm. Together we will create a map from our collective imaginations with foam board and oil pastels.

The activity is modeled after group brainstorming exercises, map-building games, and Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities. The characteristics of the city we create together can go as far as our imagination takes us. It can be a city on top of a mountain or at the bottom of the sea. It can be in the past, present, or future. It can be on this planet or another galaxy. Come build a new kind of city.
