We’re partnering with the Archivists of the Houston Area (AHA!) organization to bring you an exciting Archives Blitz on October 28 from 12-5 p.m. at the PRH Community Gallery, 2521 Holman Street, Houston, TX 77004.

Join us as we delve into the Artist Rounds Collection, and process the extensive series of photographic film slides depicting the artist installations from the past 30 years. This unique gathering will combine hands-on archival work along with a community social experience.

An Archives Blitz is similar to a ”Wikipedia Edit-a-thon,” and participants will have the opportunity to work through a series of archival tasks that will contribute to the development of collections in the Ar(t)chives on the Row repository. This event is perfect for local students, artists, and individuals interested in archives and history, providing a wonderful opportunity to connect with members of the community.
