Artist Anthony Suber discusses his work to be presented in the first iteration of PRH’s Collectors Club.
About The Collectors Club
The Collectors Club is built on a vision of using art, creativity, and education to open up possibilities for every individual while simultaneously growing a network of human connectivity. The mission of The Project Row Houses’ Collectors Club is to enrich the relationship between artists and collectors, emerging or established, by embracing the notion of collecting with sensibility. In this vein, PRH will host a series of events that educate artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts by allowing them to engage with one another while celebrating and acquiring the knowledge and skills to collect and be collected.
About Project Row Houses
Project Row Houses (PRH) is a community-based arts and culture non-profit organization in Houston’s northern Third Ward, one of the city’s oldest African American neighborhoods. Founded in 1993 as a result of the vision of local African-American artists wanting a positive creative presence in their own community, PRH shifts the view of art from traditional studio practice to a more conceptual base of transforming the social environment.
