Join Round 55 artist Cat Martinez on Saturday, May 27 from 1-3 p.m., and experience Slab culture with a special panel discussion and viewing with Houston Slab enthusiast’s and artists.

In conjunction with Martinez’s Round 55 installation titled “SLABS”, this event celebrates the cultural phenomenon of Slab’s, created during the mid 80’s and remains influential to our culture today. The panel will include Charles Culton “Whip Connoisseur”, DaeDae and Pops, Life of the Original 5th Ward Boyz, David Stunts, Will Lean of the Botany Boyz, and Cat Martinez.

The conversation will be moderated by artists Anthony and Seba Suber, and will discuss the legacy and impact of Slab culture in Houston’s past, present, and future.
