The Cohort 4 BBCC Artist Mentorship Showcase is now on view in the Community Gallery! This group installation celebrates the work Building Blocks of Creative Careers (BBCC) participants have accomplished over 6 months in the Artist Mentorship Program, which pairs emerging artists in the BBCC program with an established Houston artist who shares their experience, resources, and guidance to create community through knowledge and skill sharing and promote a richer, more accessible art scene in Houston.
Cohort 4 mentees and mentors include:
- Brittani Broussard and Lakea Shepard
- Cassandra Jones and Quentin Pace
- Carlos Mendoza and Jesse Sifuentes
- Jelilat Odubayo and Julie De Vries
- Temptest Williams and Rabéa Ballin
The Artist Mentorship Showcase will be on view in the Community Gallery at 2521 Holman until Sunday, April 14, 2024.
