Strength Through Artistic Resilience (STAR) is a series of events focused on creative expression as a tool for collective healing, exploring disability justice and intersectional identity that includes a workshop and a support group. Each workshop offers community members the chance to engage with therapeutic art-making processes, focusing on self-care and emotional expression. Offering a peer-led support group for artists and creatives in the Houston area, STAR fosters connection, mentorship, and mutual support.
