About Carlos Mendoza
Carlos Luis Mendoza is an artist born and raised on the North Side of Houston, Texas. His current mediums vary from graphite to acrylic media or from digital media to sculptures as he continues to embark on the wide passage of art. Influenced by mixed media artwork from the 20th Century, Mendoza is currently interested in developing his own unique style. As an artist in Project Row House’s 2022 Summer Studios Program, he is further exploring the meaning of art and how art can influence change or evoke emotions. After receiving an Associate in Biology in 2021, Mendoza is now currently pursuing his true calling in the Studio Art Program at Houston Community College.
