Round 59 at Project Row Houses features powerful installations by artists from across Houston, Texas, presented inside the seven historic art houses that form the heart of this beloved Third Ward institution. This round showcases the work of seven visual artists, each offering deeply personal and engaging pieces that reflect their artistic journeys. Round 59 will not have an overarching theme, only a focus on allowing artists the freedom to create work that speaks directly to their practices and experiences. The result is a dynamic, multifaceted exhibition that invites visitors to explore each house as a unique and meaningful encounter. 

At the core of Round 59 is the mission that has guided Project Row Houses from the beginning: to empower people and enrich communities through art, engagement, and direct action. Reimagined by the artists, the row houses have become spaces for connection, storytelling, and transformation. By centering the voices of socially engaged individuals and honoring the spirit of the neighborhood, this round strives to uplift, inspire, and build community through creativity and care.
