Project Row Houses’ own Art Director and Curator. The Houston based non-profit organization focuses on giving local African American artists a presence in the community through the preservation of the historical neighborhood of Third Ward. The vision of Project Row Houses is like no other here in Houston, an oil and gas business city which is thriving economically. The huge increase of the population over the past several years of young professionals in the city has brought along an insurgence of artists as well. I talked to Ryan Dennis about how Project Row Houses aids in the growth of the artist community and the recent artist talk event led by Producer and Cinematographer Arthur Jafa.
