About the Showcase

Legacy Lives Here is a powerful multimedia exhibition celebrating the artistic voices of our elders, wisdom-keepers, and culture-shapers. Through a wide range of mediums, this showcase honors the legacy of those who continue to leave their mark through creative expression. 

Spanning generations of insight, the works on view reflect personal histories, cultural memory, and the ongoing act of passing down knowledge through art. PRH invites six artists ages 55+ to contribute two works of art to a living archive of resilience, beauty, and imagination that will continue to shape us all. Submissions are due Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

The exhibition will open to the public on Saturday, October 18 at 3:00 PM in the Community Gallery at 2521 Holman St, Houston, TX 77004.
