Ways to Support PRH

Whether you are making a one-time donation or plan to include Project Row Houses in your will or estate plans, there are many ways you can engage with us to support our mission. Explore the possibilities:

DONATE NOW

Make a one-time or recurring gift online by credit card to support the mission and programs of Project Row Houses. You can also make this gift in honor or in memory of someone special, and we will notify the person you specify about your gift. Contact your HR Department at work to find out if your company matches charitable donations and to request information on the process.

MAKE A GIFT OF APPRECIATED STOCK

Please contact our team using the “email us” button below for our brokerage information if you wish to make a gift of publicly traded securities. Please include us your name, address information so we can provide a receipt, the name of the securities you wish to contribute (and number of shares if known), and whether the gift is for a specific event or purpose. Our broker will immediately liquidate the shares and confirm with us that the transfer has been made, and has graciously agreed to waive any fees that PRH might incur from the transaction. We will provide a receipt for tax purposes. 

If you prefer, we also maintain an account with Donate Stock, a trusted third-party organization that manages securities donations for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Visit our profile at Donate Stock to make your gift. You will receive a receipt for your gift from Donate Stock’s 501(c)(3) and PRH will receive the proceeds of the sale of your stock and be notified of your gift. There is a small transaction fee associated with Donate Stock.

MAKE A GIFT BY CHECK

INCLUDE PROJECT ROW HOUSES IN YOUR WILL OR ESTATE PLANS

Include the bequest language in your will or living trust. If you like, you can use this sample bequest language as a guide, but please consult your attorney for guidance:

“I give ______ to PROJECT ROW HOUSES, a Texas nonprofit public benefit corporation EIN 74-0411778, to provide support to be used at the discretion of the Board of Directors and Executive Director in service to the Project Row Houses’ mission and exempt purpose.”

You can also name Project Row Houses as a beneficiary of retirement plans or life insurance policies.

DONATE GOODS OR SERVICES

Project Row Houses also accepts in-kind donations of some types of materials and equipment from individuals, corporations, and organizations.

We are always in need of Visa or Mastercard gift cards in $25 and $50 denominations to use for our residents after weather emergencies and during the holidays.

PRH is not a collecting organization, but we do accept gifts of art or property from time to time subject to our policies and board approval. Please contact us to discuss your donation.
