TréPhonos Love is a live performance by Big Brandon Willis presented in conjunction with The TréPhonos, a project supported by PRH through the Strategic Art Plan. The evening will also feature talks by the artists and ambassadors working on the project and in the community.
TréPhonos is a collaborative art project by Jeanette Degollado, Matt Fries, and Julian Luna, featuring 3 themed payphones, 3 TréPhonos Ambassadors, and 18 Third Ward residents. These phones feature the voices of Third Ward through a series of audio experiences. The artists took the nostalgic payphone and repositioned them as devices for a different kind of public connection. TréPhonos symbolize the heart of Third Ward.

Three Themed Payphones:
About the Strategic Art Plan
In the Northern Third Ward neighborhood, it is essential to cultivate independent change agents and focus art and creativity as well as the general well-being and wealth building of the residents in our community. Our mission is to empower people and enrich communities through engagement, art & direct action. Generously funded by Houston Endowment, the Strategic Art Plan works to collaborate with organizations based in the Third Ward to present public art engagement opportunities for the community.
