Houston: An Intentional Gathering for Womyn of Color in the Arts

Wednesday, July 24, 2019
6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

Project Row Houses
2521 Holman St.
Houston, TX 77004

Register here.

This intentional community gathering serves to connect cultural workers of color from the Houston metro area and ignite dialogue around how womyn arts administrators can collectively work to strengthen and sustain broad participation of womyn of color in the arts field. We'll be focusing on community and coalition building and how we can work to harness our collective power and resources.

Grounded in community in historic Third Ward; this particular gathering in the hometown of WOCA's Founding Director will be enhanced by the physical space of Project Row Houses, a model cultural and community development institution led by dynamic womyn of color.

PLEASE NOTE: While we appreciate all allies, we ask that these gathering spaces remain exclusively for those that self-identify as womyn of color.

This gathering is part of national series, Intentional: A Gathering for Womyn of Color in the Arts presented by Women of Color in the Arts - WOCA.

Self-identify as a woman of color arts administrator for the performing arts? Want to become a member or simply learn how to support WOCA? Please visit: www.womenofcolorinthearts.org/become-a-member
