NuWaters Co-op

NuWaters Co-op is an incubation project supported by Project Row Houses.
NuWaters Co-op is a member owned and operated retail food market making a difference in the Third Ward community.  Produce comes from locally grown organic, transitional and conventional individual and commercial farmers.  Soon, their new Market Garden project will grow produce that goes directly from the ground into their market, giving community members access to healthy food while also providing jobs, supporting local entrepreneurs and working to end food deserts.  NuWaters is run completely by volunteers who believe in the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. If you are a person of action who wants to make a difference, NuWaters Co-op needs you!  NuWaters is located at the historic 1939 Eldorado Ballroom building at 2320 Elgin Street and is open seven days a week from 9 am to 4 pm. To contact NuWaters, please call Carmen Jules at 832-807-3738.
