Join the GreenHouse Collective at Project Row Houses as we embark upon a new series of Workshops on gardening and garden-related topics.
This Saturday, February 27th, Gary Edmondson, Urban Harvest’s Director of Education, is offering a workshop on different approaches to gardening at Project Row Houses.
This Workshop will be preceded by a GreenLunch potluck at 12:00 pm. Bring a healthy dish and join us for lunch prior to the presentation at 1:00 pm.
The GreenHouse collective began in October 2009. Initiated by Elia Arce’s project Light Green/ Dark Green, where she grew wheat grass inside of a gallery row house, and later distributed wheat grass juice shots. This project sparked the interest and various conversations about gardening, the green movement, sustainability, and health.
The GreenHouse collective was conceived to facilitate any projects and ideas that continue the gardening initiative in the Project Row Houses community.
Everyone is invited to form part of the collective.
