As a member of the Greater Houston Kwanzaa Committee, PRH is hosting its annual Children’s Kwanzaa Celebration on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.  The principle of this day is Nia, which means Purpose.  The event will take place at Dupree Park, 3300 Dowling Street, from 2:30 - 4:30 pm.  The day will include a Kwanzaa ceremony, hands-on crafts’ activities and performances.  Free and open to the public; for more information, please call 713.526.7662.
